Daryl S Jeffers

Daryl Jeffers is a native son of Florida having been born in Miami. At an early age, he moved with his family to Atlanta. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, TN, while attending there with his church youth group.

Daryl attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, majoring in History and minoring in Greek. There he met his wife Jan, and they were married in 1975. After graduating from BJU, Daryl attended Central Seminary in Minneapolis, MN, earning M.Div. and Th.M. degrees. He spent 8 years as the youth pastor of First Calvary Baptist Church in South St. Paul, MN, before accepting the call to Calvary Baptist Church in Clymer, PA, where he served as the Senior Pastor for 35 years. During his tenure as pastor at Calvary Baptist, he earned his D.Min. degree from Bob Jones University.

Daryl and Jan have three daughters and one son. All are faithful in their local churches with their families which include 4 grandsons.

Associate Pastor
Jeffrey Bailie

Pastor Jeff Bailie and his wife, Debbie, began their ministry at Maranatha Baptist Church August 1, 2025.  Pastor and Debbie met in high school in their hometown of Steubenville, Ohio.  Following high school, Pastor Bailie attended college in Ashland, Ohio. Here he received his bachelor’s degree, accepted Christ as his Savior, and, in his senior year, was called and surrendered to full-time ministry. Debbie attended the College of Steubenville, and received a degree in education.  After college, Pastor Bailie administered two different Christian schools over 9 ½ years.   

In 1985, Pastor and Debbie entered the pastoral ministry, in which they served for 40 years. After living and pastoring in the Pittsburgh, PA area, Pastor and Debbie moved to Faith Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL in 2007, where he was the pastor for over 18 years. Pastor and Debbie were married June 11, 1977. They have two adult children, who are both married and serving the Lord, and eight grandchildren.  Their daughter, Natalie, is married to an associate pastor, and lives and serves in Newark, DE.  Their son, Adam, is a pastor in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Administrative Pastor
Dwight Turbett

Rev. Dwight Turbett has been involved in full-time Christian Ministry for over 40 years.  His ministry began during his Bible College and Seminary training years in the areas of youth, music, and preaching.  He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America into a missionary family serving in Ecuador, South America.  Upon their return to the United States, his family settled in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He was saved as a boy of 8 years in the ministry of First Baptist Church of St. Cloud, MN.  He was baptized by water immersion shortly after and was brought into the membership of the church there.

 

After graduating from White Bear Lake High School, he attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College.  Then, he attended Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Minneapolis.  Since 1974, his ministry experience has included pastoral ministry, assistant pastoral ministry, school administration and interim pastoral work.

 

Dwight enjoys his 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren and was recently joined by a great grandson.  His children all live in Michigan. One daughter is a pastor's wife; one daughter is now involved in realty and property management with her husband. His son is in law enforcement in a county sheriff's office.

 

Dwight came to Maranatha Village and Maranatha Baptist Church with his wife Cheryl Mae in June of 2018.  Cheryl Mae entered heaven's glory in June of 2024.
